In less than a week, we’ll have our chosen symbol: A visual representation of all that TAO is.
And what exactly is TAO…?
One of our key designers, Mafe, said it best regarding the TAO team:
“I feel like we were all in a mothership wreck and got horribly scattered — and now it’s like ‘fuck, finally, where have y’all been?’”
TAO isn’t just a social platform. It’s a reconstruction of that mothership. 🛸
A return.
A gathering point.
As you may have heard me say before:
We are the builders and the healers.
If you’re reading this, you are one of us: The Good Stewards, uniting to shape a future that is human-first.
TAO is not just a place to post videos. It is:
A vessel to harness the collective energy of rebellion and reclamation
A vehicle that will allow us to organize at scale, and steer toward the future we truly want for ourselves and our children
A web of connection with our local communities and global neighbors
A mech suit for the People vs the System 😎
Let’s be real: The systems we’ve inherited are cannibalistic. They’re devouring themselves, collapsing under the weight of unsustainability, greed, and centralization.
What rises from the ashes is not yet written…
….but it will be shaped by those bold enough to build different, while standing shoulder-to-shoulder with their neighbors — across lines of politics, race, religion, nationality, orientation, and everything else that distracts from our shared humanity.
TAO is the infrastructure.
A digital commons.
A decentralized movement.
The social media platform that always should have existed: Allowing creators, communities, and cooperators to connect, reclaim our power, and build forward. Together as one.
We are Team Human vs Everything
that seeks to divide us.
The success of TAO hinges entirely on numbers. To go up against Big Tech, monopolies, and Powers that Be means this has to be entirely grassroots and community-driven.
We need as many people pulling in the same direction as possible.
Which means we cannot be working in silos.
That’s why we’re introducing TAO Talks, conversations with founders and thinkers that are running mission-parallel + are connected to the TAO ecosystem.
TAO Talks is where we plant the seeds. Weave the web. Forge the alliances.
Like pulling fast the threads of a sail that we'll soon hoist to catch the wind of a great change.

Had the first long, public conversation about TAO Social with Michael the Chairman.
Michael the Chairman isn’t your average podcast host. At 26, he’s survived more near death experiences than most people have dentist appointments. Born with Marfan syndrome and legally blind for much of his life, he’s faced a staggering amount of adversity…and turned it into fuel for comedy, creativity, and compassion.
He calls himself a sit-down stand-up comedian with a dark sense of humor (his words: “but much like my past self... I don’t see it”) and a deep sense of purpose.
We covered a lot of ground in our conversation including:
